Everyone who walks into Batian Peak is mesmerized by the amazing multiple
aromas of fresh loose leaf tea and fresh roasted coffee that fill the
store located at Tandem Plaza in Billerica. We invite you to visit the
Batian Peak store for the best cup of fresh roasted coffee and the finest
cup of fresh loose leaf tea or to purchase tea or coffee for your home.
Batian Peak Coffee and Tea Store is located in Billerica, MA
on Route 3A which is also known as Boston Road. You can get to
Batian Peak by following Route 3A East or West or by coming off
Route 3 exit 29 (Route 129).
Kenya produces some of the finest black tea in the world. Kenyan
Tea is used to blend other teas to enhance their flavors. This
newly designed package includes 100 enveloped tea bags. This
tea has a soothing strong malty flavor.

Process of picking the leaves
Kenya has very high standards of picking the tea buds. Farmers
hand picks only the finest leaf to ensure a high quality cup
of Kenyan black tea. Unlike other teas which sometimes are
harvested by using machines, all Kenyan teas are hand picked
so you can
be sure you are getting top quality tea. We import this tea
directly from Ketepa.
How to Brew
Steep for 3-5 minutes @190-209 degrees
HOT TEA:
Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 tsp
of tea for each cup into tea pot. Add boiling water. Cover
and let steep for 3-7 minutes. Add milk and sugar to taste.
Acceptable
to consume 'straight up'
ICED TEA: ( 1qr/ltr)
Place 6 tsp of tea in a heat resistant pitcher. Add 1/14 cups
freshly boiled water. Steep 5min. fill the serving pitcher
1/4 way with ice water. Add steeped tea and fill with ice water.
Garnish to sweeten. (note: top quality tea may cloud when iced
( its ok) due to their naturally high flavonoid polyphenols
levels)
