Kenyan Woman Killed in a Hit-and-Run Crash in the US Phoenix, Arizona

A Kenyan woman in the United States reportedly died after she was involved in what her family said was a hit-and-run crash in Phoenix, Arizona.

31-year-old Sheila Jeptanui Chuchuney’s family said she succumbed to injuries moments after being taken to a local hospital.

Sheila lived in Mombasa, Kenya before her family relocated to the US.

The deceased is the daughter of Everlyn Lelei of Phoenix, Arizona, and the late Bentham Kipleting Chuchuney.

The family has appealed for funds to help in her burial arrangements. Financial assistance can be wired through Mary Waweru, the treasurer of the funeral organizing committee, through Cash App (402) 617-4471.

Tentative burial date has been set for January 6th.
